Channel Lettered Signs are a highly visible, elegant, and flexible commercial signage option. Channel lettering is what we do most, and what we do best. These signs are the staple of commercial sign industry, and offer the most bang for the buck, and while more expensive than routed or vinyl signs they offer much higher visibility and promote a much higher class image.

All of our channel lettered signs are custom designed to meet your specific needs. Our fabricators and designers work with you directly to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Process
The first step in the process is designing your sign. Some companies come to us with their own artwork and logos and a good idea of what they have in mind (especially franchises of large corporations) while some companies (usually independent businesses) come to us with an idea or image they want to project, and we design accordingly. You will always have the final decision on design, we want you to have exactly what you want, while giving you exactly what you need.

After your design is finalized, colors chosen and a typeface(s) selected, we will cut the faces of your sign in the desired material, usually acrylic. Our acrylic comes in countless colors and levels and transparencies. Once the acrylic faces are cut, returns are fabricated.

Aluminum returns (the sides of the letters) are built to exact specifications, to wrap and fit precisely around your acrylic faces. Returns are typically 5" deep, but can vary depending on desired effect and zoning specifications. While the returns are being built, neon is being readied and the raceway is also being finalized.

Our channel letters are internally illuminated with neon. Some companies are using L.E.D. light sources in their channel letters, and we can use L.E.D.'s if you insist, but in our opinion, with current technology, neon is the best choice. Neon is the most practical light source because it is energy efficient to operate, runs at a much cooler temperature than L.E.D.'s and is the only light source that can be shaped and still maintain uniform light intensity. Neon also gives off more lumens than L.E.D. light sources, making your sign more visible and as a result, more effective.

Lastly, the raceway (An electrical enclosure that may also serve as a mounting structure for the sign) is completed, the channel letters and returns are attached. Neon tubing is carefully placed inside and all transformers and electrical components and wiring are installed. Finally the acrylic faces are applied and the returns sealed to the surface using Jewel Lite trim. We fabricate channel letter signs to conform to UL listing that carry the UL labeling (as with all of our electriacl signs). Your channel lettered sign is now ready for expert installation.
